Angie Rozelaar is a British illustrator, artist and author based in Normandy, France. She lives in the countryside with her family and a small menagerie of rescue animals. As a picture book illustrator, she has worked on many popular titles with children’s publishers in the US, UK and France. The Inspiration for PlanetCat® came about when she took up an online challenge to illustrate a hundred cats in a hundred days. The project started to gather momentum and she soon found that one hundred was just the beginning! The ‘Meow’ collection came about when Angie was inspired to paint a series of black cats. Some people say that all black cats look the same, but Angie does not agree! She believes each one has a unique personality and the collection is a celebration of their assorted characters, each full of magic and mischief.
